In 2010, I came home from London and started a business called Starring Nobody. I started making jewellery, accompanied by a fashion/lifestyle blog and moved quickly into clothing. Having a product based business was where it all began for me, but in such a different energy. I called that business Starring Nobody because I didn’t want to be noticed. I considered myself a nobody, unimportant to the creation of the products and figured no one needed to know who I was in creating them.
Fast forward 12 years later to now, coming full circle back to a product. Only this time, I am my business. I’m the face and it’s my name. And that story I started my entrepreneurial path on couldn’t be further from the truth. The product I’ve created is a daily reminder for us all to stand in our f*cking spotlight. Because you get to be the star of the show that is your life. Your name gets to be in written in lights every day as you follow your dreams.
